God bless my parents. Where would I be without them? Their imprint— hereditary emotional spiritual undeniable though I often failed to notice it even as I fought it.
Not only have I come to peace with the legacy that is mine, I have come to pursue it to cherish it. I spent so many years searching for me, me, me— ignoring the most sacred part of who I am—that which was consciously and unconsciously overwhelmingly and lovingly bestowed upon me by my parents every day from birth to death.
My legacy— that which I inherited as well as that which I shall bestow— is an eternal thread.
Like Blake’s golden thread We have only to follow it to arrive at Heaven’s Gate.
May you have the vision to discover and follow the thread; and may you feel the great flow of energy that comes from being a link in an eternal chain.
